My host recently suffered some downtime and data loss issues as a result of a zero-day attack. This attack has affected over 100,000 sites and the owner of the virtualization software HyperVM is suspected of committing suicide.

Fortunately we had a database backup on the 19th of may. So not too much was lost. What wasn’t backed up however was any data on the server. So at the moment I’m still trying to gather everything together again and get it back up and running.

Valve has just updated their community to include live L4D stats about individiaul players, It goes into a lot more detail than the other games like TF2 and EP2. I really like it
